New York Mets catcher Kevin Plawecki is day-to-day with a bruised left knee, according to MLB.com's Anthony DiComo.
Plawecki bruised his knee in Saturday's spring training game against the Washington Nationals. X-rays came back negative.
He wore a compression wrap on the knee on Sunday, according to DiComo, however he said he felt better from the day before.
Plawecki, 26, hit .197 with one home run and 11 RBIs in 48 games with the Mets last season. He is expected to start the season with Triple-A Las Vegas, where he hit .
