Free agent Ben Zobrist will likely pick a new team before Dec. 10, when the MLB Winter meetings conclude in Nashville, Tennessee, next week, according to New York Post reporter Joel Sherman (Dec. 1, 2015).
Zobrist, who is reportedly seeking a four-year deal, is Sandy Alderson's top target this offseason, according to FoxSports.com's Ken Rosenthal (Nov. 29, 2015).
Despite wanting him to be their primary second baseman, multiple reports indicate the Mets may be unwilling to give Zobrist a fourth year. However, industry sources have said the same about the Yankees and other teams interested in the 34-year-old free agent (Nov.
