Travis d'Arnaud, Dillon Gee rehab for Mets in minors

Travis d'Arnaud, making his first rehab start since suffering a fractured hand on April 19, went 0-for-3 for the Mets' Single-A Advanced affiliate St. Lucie on Wednesday.

He started at catcher and batted second in the lineup, grounding out to second in the first, third and sixth innings. Jeff Glenn replaced d'Arnaud at catcher to start the top of the eighth in a 4-1 loss to Lakeland.

In 11 games with the Mets this season, d'Arnaud, 26, hit .317 with a .356 on-base percentage and .892 on-base plus slugging percentage. His replacements - Anthony Recker, Kevin Plawecki and Johnny Monell - have hit .
