Jacob deGrom elected to ASG, Jeurys Familia in final vote

The New York Mets have one player guaranteed to compete in the 2015 MLB All Star Game at Great American Ballpark, and with the help of Met fans, the team could have another player joining him.

Jacob deGrom, 27, has been the Mets most reliable starter in 2015, emerging as the team’s ace and posting an impressive 2.30 ERA. He is the staff’s only starter making the trek to Cincinnati, pending injuries.
