Carmelo Anthony doesn’t want to be a member of the New York Knicks anymore. That much is clear. ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported that despite New York putting trade talks with the Rockets on pause the ten-time All-Star has no interest in being reincorporated to the Knicks young roster.
Steve Mills suggested during Monday’s team press conference that the team is ready to move on with or without Anthony. He also said that the Knicks would not buy out Melo’s contract.
Marc Berman of The New York Post reports that New York has not restarted trade talks with the Rockets.
