The New York Knicks took a leap of faith at the 2017 NBA Draft. Despite the calls for New York to take an American-born player who had showcased their abilities on the collegiate scene, former team president Phil Jackson invested the No. 8 overall selection in Frank Ntilikina.
Although the 2017-18 NBA regular season has yet to arrive, Ntilikina is already putting in the necessary work to justify the hype.
Ntilikina was projected as a potential lottery pick by consensus, which makes his selection quite understandable. There’s expected to be a learning curve, however, which Ntilikina has attempted to address by working with one of the most respected trainers in the NBA: Chris Brickley.
