Knicks News: Jimmer Fredette Returns To D-League Squad

Shooting guard Jimmer Fredette has largely been a disappointment since he entered the league in 2011. After being picked one spot ahead of Klay Thompson, the former college scoring machine has been labeled a bust.

Fredette was drafted by the New York Knicks’ D-League Affiliate, the Westchester Knicks, with the second overall pick but before the Knicks could call Fredette up his contract was bought out by the New Orleans Pelicans. On Nov. 19, Fredette was waived by New Orleans and today it was announced that he was re-acquired by Westchester, via Ian Begley of ESPNNewYork.
