TORONTO — Carmelo Anthony says he dreams of playing with another star because he just can’t do it all by himself.
As the perennial All-Star nears his 32nd birthday, the Knicks are nearing a third straight year of missing the playoffs. That doesn’t “sit well” with Anthony, in his words. He wants team president Phil Jackson to get him some help.
“I think everybody always kind of dreams and hopes that they can play with another great player, another star player,” Anthony said Friday afternoon during NBA All-Star Media Day. “It’s a star players’ league.
