In today's trending Knicks news, the New York Knicks have officially opened up a new chapter in the franchise's history with the signing of former Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Derek Fisher to a five-year, $25 million deal as the team's next head coach.

With special thanks to Redditor TheCurseOfJamesDolan, here is a picture of Fisher's first minutes as the replacement for former head coach Mike Woodson:

With Fisher now in place, Knicks president Phil Jackson will presumably have the perfect extension of his coaching philosophy on the sidelines - as Derek Fisher functioned as an on-court coach for Fisher during the pair's run of five championships with the Lakers during the 2000s.
