Kevin Durant's season-ending foot injury sent shockwaves through the NBA and his Oklahoma City Thunder team, but it could also affect just how a team like the New York Knicks approaches Durant in free agency next summer.
According to Frank Isola of the New York Daily News, the Knicks would be better served heeding past mistakes and looking elsewhere for a marquee free agent:
