The NFL Draft really couldn't have turned out any better for the Jets.

They wanted Jamal Adams. And somehow, someway, the LSU safety fell right in their laps with the No. 6 pick.

So what exactly is there to like about the 6-0, 214-pound big-hitter?

For starters, Adams is a gamer. He played in 36 games during his three-year career at Alabama, totaling 209 tackles, 18 tackles for a loss, two sacks and five interceptions. As a junior in 2016, he had 76 tackles, one sack and an interception.

Aside from his on-field talent, many praise Adams for his off-field traits.
