brought veteran free-agent lineman Orlando Franklin in for a visit Tuesday, according to multiple reports. ESPN first reported the news.

Franklin, 29, was originally selected by the Broncos in the second round of the 2011 draft. He spent the first four years of his career with the team, then signed a five-year deal with the Chargers in 2015. L.A. released Franklin in May, which saved $2.8 million in salary cap space.

Last season, Franklin started 16 games. PFF rated him their No. 66 guard out of 72 qualifying players

The Jets starting offensive line is pretty much set.
