Woody Johnson, Jets Help Wounded Veteran Get Smart Home

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) — Wounded veteran Sgt. Adam Keys on Wednesday received the keys to a customized high-tech smart home in Annapolis, Maryland designed to ensure his independence.

Among the special guests on hand was New York Jets owner Woody Johnson, whose $1 million donation last July enabled Tunnel to Towers to build two homes for veterans who have suffered devastating injuries. In addition to Keys’ house, a high-tech home is being built in New York City for Army Sgt. Bryan Dilberian, who, like Keys, was critically wounded by an explosion.

“He’s a great man,” Johnson said of Sgt.
