Tim Tebow, the quarterback best known for his evangelical head, nimble feet and inaccurate arm, is coming to the Philadelphia Eagles.
The saga of Tebow, who’s had a spotty National Football League career aside from a glorious (pun intended) run with the Denver Broncos four years ago, has been well-chronicled. It’s spawned a word, “Tebowing,” referring to the act of getting down on a knee and in a prayerful pose, often in unusual locations. (Visit the website devoted to Tebowing.)
Philadelphia is known as a town that, among other things, likes its salty foods. So it’s little surprise that an entrepreneurial pretzel-maker has already immortalized Tebow’s Philly phase in a savory treat:
No word yet of a Tebowing cheesesteak, with TMZ reporting that both Pat’s and Geno’s are less than high on the signing.
