New York Jets Rumors: Will Tarvaris Jackson Play for the Jets in 2013?

Updated 1/21/2013 at 1:20pm ET

The New York Jets proved this season that they are just bad, and rumor has it that the Jets are going to bring in a new quarterback this spring.

One of the most popular names linked to the Jets already is Michael Vick. But it has already emerged that former Eagles OC Marty Mornhinweg who is now the OC for the Jets has no interest in a reunion with Vick.

Other than Vick, there does not seem to be an influx of QB talent on the trading block this offseason, so the Jets are going to have to get creative if if they want to find a new QB.

One of the other possible players available this offseason will be Tarvaris Jackson of the Seattle Seahawks. Currently, Jackson sits as the thrid-string QB behing Russell Wilson and Matt Flynn.

In his seven seasons in the NFL, Jackson has only started 35 games and has a 59.4% completion percentage. That being said, Jackson does not appear to be much of an upgrade at all for the Jets at the QB position.

But the Jets are in a position in which they are desperate for a change so that they can appease their stirring fans who are not the least bit happy with the Jets overall lack of production in the past few seasons.
