NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Geno Smith sounds like someone without a care in the world, which is odd considering the microscope he’ll be under in a few short weeks.
The embattled third-year quarterback knows its his starting job to lose when the Jets open training camp later this month at their facility in Florham Park, New Jersey.
Given the rocky start to Smith’s NFL career, one would think he’d be a bit concerned about what’s to come.
Not so, apparently.
“I don’t feel any pressure,” Smith told the team’s official website on Wednesday from his youth football camp in Boonton, New Jersey.
