2014 NFL Draft: New York Jets Select Tajh Boyd

With the 213th overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, the New York Jets have selected Tajh Boyd out of Clemson.

Position: Quarterback

Measurables: 6’1”, 222 lbs

As the only quarterback in ACC history to post three seasons of 30 touchdown passes or more, Clemson’s Tajh Boyd also set the career passing touchdown mark for the conference with 107. Boyd was a finalist for both the Manning and the Johnny Unitas awards in 2013, going 283-of-413 for 3,851 yards, 34 touchdowns and 11 interceptions in 13 starts.

Boyd sets his feet quickly, and he delivers an accurate ball when given a solid pocket to work with. Boyd can hit the deep throw with both touch and accuracy, stepping up in the face of blitzing schemes and delivering a ball with very good velocity.
