New York Islanders work around injures to face Boston Bruins

The Boston Bruins have scored 19 goals over their past five games and are coming off of a 6-3 win over Philadelphia, while the New York Islanders are looking to rebound off an ugly 7-4 loss to Carolina.

The Islanders have scratched alternate captains Cal Clutterbuck and Andrew Ladd this afternoon in Boston. After losing a spirited game to the Hurricanes, the Islanders will be looking to repeat their performance in Boston the last time they were here.

Stephen Gionta will make his debut with the Islanders today as well.
