It’s about the halfway point through the NHL offseason. The Mothers Day loss does not seem so far away at all, but nonetheless New York Islanders hockey is almost here. Here’s a bit of a recap for you through the halfway point.
Andy Graziano does a great job of summing everything up. From the positives and negatives of last year, to the players lost and players brought in it’s all there. The “What’s Needed” section I found most interesting.
Graziano cites finding a defensive replacement for Frans Nielsen as a definite need. Which makes you think the Nikolay Kulemin will be his defensive replacement.
