The final rosters for the World Cup of Hockey were released over the course of the day and one more Islander made the list.
Thomas Greiss will join teammates (for now) Frans Nielsen and Jaroslav Halak on the multinational Team Europe, a reward for a breakout NHL season that saw him play a career high in games, sit among the league leaders in save percentage and backstop the Islanders to the second round of the playoffs for the first time since 1993.
Also added to Team Europe tonight were Tobias Rieder of the Coyotes, flying Frenchman Pierre-Edouard Bellemare of the Flyers and Nino Niederreiter of the Minnesota Wild.
