Tom Coughlin could save Victor Cruz’s career

Apparently, the Jaguars were listening. Two weeks after Victor Cruz told The Post he would be “all for” reuniting with former coach Tom Coughlin in Jacksonville, reports leaked on Thursday the free agent wide receiver was going to visit the team soon.

Cruz was released by the Giants on Feb. 13 after seven mostly successful seasons with his hometown team, making one Pro Bowl and winning a Super Bowl. He dealt with injuries that sidelined him in 2014 and ’15, but rebounded in 2016, to catch caught 39 passes for 586 yards and a touchdown. However, the undrafted receiver out of UMass has yet to latch on after the Giants released him, though he has visited with the Panthers.
