Don't look now, but NFL free agency is weeks awat away. The 2017 league year will open on Wednesday, March 9 at 4 p.m. Eastern, at which point all expiring player contracts end and the market opens.
In advance of free agency, here is the rundown of NJ.com's Top 50 NFL unrestricted free agents for 2017. This list will be adjusted and updated periodically heading into free agency as players re-sign with their own teams and/or receive franchise and transition tags.
Several players on the initial list are likely to be tagged starting on February 15, but all scheduled unrestricted free agents will be on the list until their status is resolved.
