The Giants sure hope Odell Beckham Jr., who has never played in a season-opening game in the NFL, is correct in his assessment about what has transpired and what is soon to come.
“This is all fun, but we know when game time is and the things we need to do to get ready,’’ Beckham said. “The preseason is over. The preseason is now irrelevant to us.”
How relevant the Giants are this season might depend on how they get out of the gate in 2015, as fast starts have not been a part of the recent Giants football landscape.
