It’s the first day of training camp, and the Giants have already had their Snacks taken away.

That’s Snacks with a capital S, as in the nickname for hefty defensive tackle Damon Harrison, one of the key free agency additions made by the team this offseason. Harrison is one of three players who are starting camp on the physically-unable-to-perform list. He’s joined there by LB J.T. Thomas and fellow DT Jay Bromley.

Others may join them by the end of the day, but that won’t be until after the coaches and medical staff get to see them perform in a conditioning test on Thursday afternoon.
