The NFL schedule for next season has just been released, so here are the three biggest match-ups for the New York Giants heading into their 2014 schedule:

Sunday Night Football, October 12th, 2014 at Philadelphia Eagles

All of the work that the New York Giants did to retool their defense this offseason comes down to this.

Eagles/Giants is always a fireworks show. Add in a Giants team trying to reclaim their spot on the top of the NFC East mountain against the defending division champions, and you have made-for-TV intrigue.

Monday Night Football, November 3rd, 2014 vs. Indianapolis Colts

Peyton's younger brother vs. Peyton's successor in Indianapolis. There are many ways that you can spin this into one of the more intriguing games on the 2014 NFL schedule. Andrew Luck vs. Eli Manning is one of them.

The last time these two teams met in the regular season, Peyton Manning led the Colts to a 38-14 victory over younger brother Eli back in 2010.

Sunday, November 9th, 2014 at Seattle Seahawks

The New York Giants will have revenge on their minds for a 23-0 home blanking at the hands of the Seahawks last December.

Any game against a defending Super Bowl champion is a crucial measuring stick, but after Eli Manning threw a career-worst five interceptions in their last meeting, there is added incentive for Manning to reassert himself as one of the best clutch quarterbacks in the history of the NFL.
