3 Reasons To Be Optimistic About The 2015 New York Giants

The 2014 New York Giants struggled en route to a 6-10 record, but there were still some flashes of good times ahead for Giants fans to hold onto going forward. With that in mind, here's 3 Reasons To Be Optimistic About The 2015 New York Giants.

1. Odell Beckham Jr. The Magnificent

Beckham captured the imagination of the nation in 2014, and his encore this coming season has the potential to be a fireworks show of epic proportion. The kid's catch radius is one of the biggest in the game, and his ability to break off a home-run TD reception on any given play makes him one of the NFL's most must-see players.

2. A Fresh Start Injury-Wise

The New York Giants had 22 players go on injured reserve in 2014 -- by far an NFL high. With key players such as Victor Cruz, Prince Amukamara, and Jon Beason sidelined, the Giants struggled to piece things together down the stretch. It's unlikely that the injury bug will flatten New York in such a way in 2015, so that's reason enough for optimism.

3. Year Two Of The West Coast Offense

New York had some growing pains in the first year of implementing Ben McAdoo's West Coast offense, but a year of experience and another training camp could be just what the doctor ordered to get the offense humming along. Look for the return of Victor Cruz to play a huge factor in the team's success both in the passing game and in the running game with him out there as a decoy.
