NEW ORLEANS -- Last week, not many people thought the New Orleans Saints cornerbacks stood much of a chance against Odell Beckham Jr. and the New York Giants -- and that was even before starter P.J. Williams suffered a season-ending concussion in the first quarter.
That left the Saints without their top four projected cornerbacks from the start of training camp (fellow starter Delvin Breaux is out with a broken fibula).
But sure enough, the Saints' group of replacement replacements stepped up big time, allowing zero offensive touchdowns in a 16-13 loss at New York.
