The New Orleans Saints have made the following roster moves, it was announced by the club today. The team has terminated the contracts of LB David Hawthorne, LB Ramon Humber and waived WR Seantavius Jones.
The club also signed CB Tony Carter and FB Austin Johnson. The roster moves were announced by Executive Vice President/General Manager Mickey Loomis.
Hawthorne played an important role both on the inside and the outside of the Saints defense since signing with New Orleans as an unrestricted free agent from the Seattle Seahawks in 2012.
