Michigan's Taco Charlton drawing a lot of predraft attention from Saints: source

A large part of the predraft process involves conducting private workouts at a player's school, attending Pro Day workouts or hosting a player visit.

When it comes to latter two areas, the New Orleans Saints on Friday morning were at the University of Michigan, where defensive end Vidauntae "Taco" Charlton was a participant.

Charlton told reporters after the workout that he is scheduled for a predraft visit with the Saints, according to Dave Birkett of The Detroit Free Press and Michael Rothstein of ESPN.com.

While the visit could be viewed as New Orleans conducting due diligence on one of the draft's top pass rushers, there is apparently more going on behind the scenes with the projected first-round pick.
