A trio of injuries sidelined Keenan Lewis for the majority of the 2015 season, but the New Orleans Saints cornerback plans to be practicing — at least in some capacity — when the team begins training camp Thursday in White Sulfur Springs, West Virginia.
"I'll practice," Lewis said at his youth camp Saturday at Tad Gormley Stadium. "I don't know how much, but I'll practice. It's up to the coaches."
More importantly, though, Lewis promised to be ready for the start of the regular season.
"I'll be ready to go by Week 1 and be ready," he said at the camp, which hosted around 100 kids ages 7 to 17 that also received back-to-school supplies.
