One of the names at the Saints’ local pro day might bring up memories of a previous era of New Orleans football.
Among those trying out Friday will be former Tulsa basketball player Patrick Swilling Jr., who happens to be the son of former Saints linebacker Pat Swilling, a five-time Pro Bowler.
The younger Swilling will be trying to cut his own path. He came up as a basketball player but began making the transition to football last year.
