The New Orleans Saints have 70 players under contract for 2015 after the signing of offensive lineman Mike Golic Jr.
Golic signed a one-year deal for the league minimum ($435,000), according to NFLPA records. There was no signing bonus. Because Golic's deal is not among the top 51 contracts on the team, it has no impact on the Saints' salary cap space. The team still has $4.45 million in cap room available.
Golic spent three weeks with the Saints last summer before being released when Jonathan Goodwin was signed as a free agent.
After Golic's signing, the Saints have 70 players under contract, including 11 offensive lineman.
