In this series we will be taking a look at players from throughout Saints history who have been drafted by the team round by round. You folks will get to select who you think is the best player the Saints drafted in each individual round.
There have been as many as 30 rounds in the NFL draft. When the Saints came into the league in 1967 that number had been whittled down to 17 which is where we will start. The NFL draft was reduced from 17 rounds to 12 in 1976 so there is a very small number of players selected by the Saints in this round.
