WACO, Texas – The 10th-ranked New Mexico State equestrian team is set for its first competition of the 2016 season as it travels to the Willis Invitational to face No. 5 Baylor, No. 9 Fresno State and South Dakota State on Friday and Saturday. Competition each day begins at 9 a.m. MT at the Willis Family Equestrian Center.
"We expect to have a strong showing at the tournament this weekend with many experienced returners to lead the way," said head coach Robin Morris-Walters. "Our squad scrimmage went well a few weeks ago and we've had some good practices so far, so I am confident that everyone is finely tuned.
