SEATTLE – New Mexico State (19-5, 9-0 WAC) was absolutely dominant in a 25-20, 25-16, 25-15 sweep of Seattle U (11-11, 4-5 WAC) on Saturday. The win marked the Aggies' first sweep of the Redhawks in the 10-match all-time series, which NM State leads 9-1.
"I like our efficiency on offense, we made better attack choices," said head coach Mike Jordan. "It is tough to beat us when our outside hitters do their job out of system. I am pretty happy with the effort on defense. To get a win against a good team, who just got a big win themselves, says a lot about our improvement, and I'm pretty happy with the results.
