DENTON, Texas – The New Mexico State women's tennis team dropped the first game of its three-match road swing on Friday to North Texas, 7-0.
The Aggies (3-3) had some trouble at the start of the match against North Texas (3-6), going down in order 6-0, 6-1 at the No. 1 and No. 2 slot, respectively. NM State's No. 3 doubles pair had their match cut short once the Mean Green clinched the doubles point.
Junior Rimpledeep Kaur was the first Aggie to go down, falling to No. 74-ranked Maria Kononova 6-1, 6-1.
