SUGAR GROVE, Ill. – The University of New Mexico men's golf season came to a close on Sunday after the Lobos tied for 26th at the 2017 NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championships with a final score of 28-over 892.
Senior Andrej Bevins closed out his Lobo career with an even-par 72 on his final day, carding a tie for 50th overall. His Sunday was consistent, and included a closing birdie. Bevins recorded a top-10 statistical performance in par-4 scoring, carrying an average of 4.07.
Ben Tolsma closed out his NCAA debut with a 6-over 78, but he was unable to capture the same momentum from the previous two days.
