This post will be the first in a series of post reviewing notable moments from the New Jersey Devils 2014-2015 NHL season. We begin our season in review series with the end of the Peter DeBoer era in New Jersey. Peter DeBoer was first hired as the New Jersey Devils Head Coach in 2011. In his first season as the New Jersey Devils Head Coach they shocked many and made it to the Stanley Cup Finals. They would lose to the Los Angeles Kings in 6 games, but it was an impressive first season for DeBoer.
After DeBoer’s first season in New Jersey things steadily went downhill for the Devils.
