Revolution Transfers 2016: Steve Neumann says he’s ready for the next chapter

It’s a bittersweet day in the world of the New England Revolution, as the team has announced who will, and won’t, be back in 2017. One player that looks to be on the outs is Steve Neumann.

Neumann, who was drafted fourth overall in the 2014 MLS SuperDraft, spent three seasons in New England. Most of his contributions came during his rookie campaign during which he made 23 appearances (three starts). The Pennsylvania native only played 13 regular-season games over the last two seasons.

It should be noted that the Revs can continue to negotiate with Neumann or another other player who had his option declined or is out of contract.
