FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution Academy’s Under-16 team was back in action this past weekend as they continued play in the qualifying round of the Generation adidias Cup. The Under-16s travelled to Orlando, Fla. for a pair of East regional qualifying matches against Atlanta United and Orlando City SC. New England defeated Atlanta United in regulation, 3-2, on Saturday, February 18 and followed up the victory two days later by defeating Orlando City SC, 1-1 (4-3 in PKs). Recording three points for the regulation victory and an additional two points for winning in PKs, the Revs earned five of a potential six points on the weekend.
