After Week 3’s results, the New England Patriots moved up to No. 1 in ESPN’s Football Power Index (FPI). They are now the most likely team to win their division, make the playoffs and win the Super Bowl, according to NFL FPI.
The Patriots began the season with an 8 percent chance of starting 4-0 without Tom Brady, according to FPI. Now they are one win away from pulling off the improbable. FPI gives them a 66 percent chance to beat the Buffalo Bills at home on Sunday.
The job that Bill Belichick has done in Brady’s absence cannot be overlooked.
