The NFL released the preseason schedule on Monday. Dates and times haven’t been announced, but here’s a first look at the opponents for the New England Patriots:
Comment: With Tom Coughlin back in Jacksonville overseeing the football operation, and Doug Marrone in his first year as head coach, the Patriots will get some work against a team that is looking to establish a tougher identity. Coughlin and Belichick both spent time under Bill Parcells, and their matchups in the past -- from when Coughlin was the Giants head coach -- have been noteworthy.
Comment: A trip back to Houston, where the Patriots captured Super Bowl LI in thrilling fashion is a fun wrinkle to the preseason.
