Patriots Agree To Two-Year Contract Extension With QB Tom Brady

The New England Patriots have reached a two-year contract extension with quarterback Tom Brady, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter and Dianna Marie Russini.

The financial details of the agreement have not been released yet. He is currently schedule to make $15 million this season and $16 million in 2017.

Brady will be with the Patriots through the end of the 2019 season as a result of his extention, when he will be 42 years old. Even though Brady is 38 years old, he has routinely said that he plans to play well into his 40s. 

Brady led New England to their 10th AFC Championship Game since 2001, passing for 4,770 yards, 36 touchdowns, and just seven interceptions.
