Given the acquisition of Jabaal Sheard, this might not be a pressing need. But in a draft that’s loaded with what experts consider an incredibly strong field of pass rushers (both defensive ends and outside linebackers), it wouldn’t be all that surprising for the Pats to strike. Rob Ninkovich is getting up in years, and Chandler Jones is entering the final year of his rookie deal, barring the Pats picking up his fifth-year option.
