Patriots News: Tom Brady talks Packers loss, missed 4th quarter opportunity

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady wasn't shy in telling reporters how much Sunday's loss 26-21 loss to the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field stings in retrospect.

“I just wish we won this one,” Brady said following the game, via Lee Schechter of ESPN Boston. “I think we put a lot into this one. This was just a great test for us. I think the guys knew how important it was for our season.”

In the end, the New England Patriots had a chance to steal a win with another clutch late fourth-quarter touchdown. It didn't come, and Brady was left to assess what could have been.

“You hate to have the ball right there on the 20-yard line with under three minutes with a chance to go ahead and not do it," Brady said. "It sucked.

“We had our chances. In the end, 21 points isn’t going to be enough against a team like that. So we have to figure out how to score more points.”
