Colts S Sergio Brown Tweets, Deletes Trash Talk To Patriots' Rob Gronkowski

In this Patriots news update, New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski addressed Indianapolis Colts safety Sergio Brown's in-game trash talk following the Patriots' 42-20 victory on Sunday night with an absolute gem.

“He was just yappin’ at me the whole time,” Gronkowski said, via CSNNE.com. “So I took him and threw him out of the club.”

Gronkowski did so by absolutely leveling Sergio Brown after running back Jonas Gray's fourth touchdown of the night. Brown, rather than accepting that he got taken out, decided to take to Twitter and show some Internet muscle.

“It’s OK someone has to b the villain,” he wrote, before deleting the tweet aimed at Gronkowski. “I take that job. As long as y’all know that boy had straps on him.”

Darin Gantt of NBC's Pro Football Talk reports that Brown also used a smiling poop emoticon to symbolize Gronkowski's stat line - an interesting take for Brown after his team was pretty much taken to the woodshed all night long on their home turf.

Gronkowski finished with four receptions for 71 yards and one touchdown. While not eye-popping by any means, the fact remains that the Patriots as a whole got the job done where it matters most - in the win column.
