Aaron Hernandez Suspected In Connection with Double Homicide

More crazy news in the Aaron Hernandez ordeal this morning, as MyFoxBoston first reported that police are looking into a possible connection between former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez and a double homicide last July.

Hernandez was arrested Wednesday and charged with first degree murder in the death of Odin Lloyd, whom Hernandez was with the night he was killed. He pleaded not guilty to that and five other gun-related charges and is currently being held without bail.

After the initial report, the Boston Globe followed up, saying a source claim that Lloyd may have known about Hernandez' role in the double killings last year, and that could have been Hernandez’ motive in his suspected killing of Lloyd. From the Globe:

The officials said investigators now believe that Odin Lloyd, the man Hernandez is charged with killing in a North Attleborough industrial park June 17, may have had information about Hernandez’s role in the double slaying.

“The motive might have been that the victim knew [Hernandez] might have been involved,” one of the officials said.
