Three keys to Nevada beating Purdue

The Wolf Pack football team wraps up its non-conference slate Saturday when it plays at the Big 10’s Purdue and will exit that game at either 3-1 or 2-2 as it enters Mountain West play the following week.

It’s only a one-game difference but a 3-1 record would look far better than 2-2, especially considering the Wolf Pack put two Power 5 teams (Notre Dame and Purdue) on its non-conference schedule.

Wolf Pack defensive tackle Korey Rush said he doesn’t “think it’s a big difference” between entering MW play at 3-1 or 2-2 from a confidence or momentum standpoint before adding, “I really want to be 3-1 going into conference because if we’re 3-1 after this week we can really get on a roll.
