Safety, receiver commit to Wolf Pack

The Wolf Pack's strong recruiting weekend continued Sunday when Nevada picked up two more verbal commitments.

Austin Arnold, a wide receiver from Bishop Gorman, and Michael Johnson, a former four-star safety from Florida, both pledged to play for Nevada.

Johnson, from Hialeah, Fla., committed to Louisville out of high school over offers from LSU, West Virginia, Nebraska and Central Florida, among other schools. He didn't qualify academically and committed to Oregon State in June 2015, although he never enrolled there.

Playing at Mt. San Antonio College near Los Angeles last season, the 6-foot-2, 194-pound Johnson had 49 tackles, six interceptions (one returned for a touchdown) and one forced fumble in 11 games.
