The Wolf Pack's total outlay for parting ways with football coach Brian Polian could near $1 million, although the final figure also could come in under well that mark.
Polian had one year and one month left on his contract at a base salary of $525,000 annually when he and Nevada "mutually parted ways" Sunday. That contract ran through January 2017 and he's owed $568,750 from Nevada if he doesn’t get another job before his contract expires.
In addition to that, Polian's assistants have contracts that run, at minimum, through February 2017, with some stretching through March 2017.
